Congratulations to all of our winners last night at the Woodstock Christmas Awards. It was lovely to catch up with everyone.

Most Improved Female Runner of the Year:  Laura Neill – consistent improvement on parkruns during year , broke 2hr half marathon
Most Improved Male Runner of the Year:  Nick Ho – Sydney 10 sub 47min pb, Sydney Half Sept 1:45, Sydney 3.55 marathon

Rookie of the Year:  David Dragicevic – performance has been great to watch this year. HOKA half in May 1.38, Sydney marathon 3.47

Outstanding Individual Female Performance of the Year:  Buselli, Stella – Melbourne marathon – 3.25
Outstanding Individual Male Performance of the Year:  Ben McKelvey – Dec 2.55 Abu Dhabi marathon , Six Foot Track sub 4.30, Sydney marathon sub 3 with broken toe

Champion Person:  Tim Cox – Cox – alongside woordstock committee he has organised after run refreshments and travelled the world with Kelly for parkruns
Runner of the year: Bron Evans –  great representative of the club. Coaching and a great runner, encourages us and offers advice when sought.

Derek Eddie Award:  Brnabic, Alan – 61min city2surf 7min pb, BBB 60min pacer 59.50!, 3.42 sydney marathon debut, relay leg Bondi-Manly, 10km pb July, half pb94min, debut trail UTA 22 top 150

Female Masters Trophy:  Bec Burgin – Bondi to Manly x2, Sydney marathon, 439 month, 101 km a week
Male Masters Trophy:  Alan Brnabic –  61min city2surf 7min pb, BBB 60min pacer 59.50!, 3.42 sydney marathon debut, relay leg bondi-malny, 10km pb July, half pb94min, debut trail UTA 22 top 150

Long Distance Award:  Kelly Leighton –  Queenstown 29 Oct, (didn’t count) New Zealand 92km Tarawera ultra – 10km short from finish. Narrowneck night run 3 weeks later, Outback marathon, Sydney marathon,  3.43 Auckland pb, harbour 10km pb, 454km a month, 105km a week

Female Club Champion:  Emily Black – very consistant sub 20min parkrun, 10kms pb in July 12sec off breaking 40, Sydney marathon 35with mum, sub 4hrs, bondi to manly 80km, 415km a month, 96 a week
Male Club Champion:  Angus Danger Hewitt – Gold coast half 76min – negative split which included a new 10km pb, sub 3 Sydney marathon, 4.45 six foot track, 50min city2surf, sub 35 BBB 10km

Allan Tully Award: Sherry Zou – Honolulu marathon, Kowan trail, chicago marathon, sydney marathon, great nosh, rafferty’s coastal run, bouddi coastal run, noosa ultra 22

Handicap Series Winner:  Noah Lackey

Steve Briscoe Presidents Award: Elliot Nolan – consistency is king – always at MNT, parkruns / 10km pb in May, 5km pb in July, 17secs off 20mins, half PB in Sep, 2,500 km barefoot, 160km/100miles in a week last December, Sunday long run
