President's Report AGM 2015

It has been an exciting year since I took over as club president, largely due to the great people we have in Woodstock and the exciting things the club has achieved.

I had the opportunity to reflect on the last year at the recent AGM.

Race Recaps

The Highs & Lows from NorthFace 100K

Two years ago, Di Galea and myself crewed for Miles Pullen in the 100k… I thought never in a million years would I attempt that. The following year Di and I both entered the 100k but pulled back to the 50k, which we completed in a grueling 9hrs 40mins. The thought of doing double that – NEVER. That was until I received a link from NF100 and before I knew it I had entered.

SMH Half Marathon Relay

One of my goals for the year was to try and run my longest ever distance, which I decided was to be done in the relay event of the SMH Half Marathon – the 2nd leg, 14.5km.
