Woodies!!

Loving the freshness of the winter/spring air at the moment; the freezing fingers and toes; chilled air against the face and; not to mention snotty noses!

well...............HTFU

If City to Surf isn't enough for you, give yourself a September target of the 'hometurf' Marathon!

Be it your first or your zillioneth, there shouldn't need to be any more motivation to run around the City and have people you know cheering you on. The new course has been refined and is not as outward bound, but hey, that makes it easier for spectators to see you and more often!

So, with about 2.5months til the Sydney Marathon (19 September 2010), the planned longer runs to go along with the other Woodies sessions throughout the week and Organised races are below.

If anyone wants to jump on the band wagon this is what i had in mind -

18 July 2010 - 20km  - Strathfield Fun Run x2 (do it once and then again!)
25 July 2010 - M7 Marathon Relay - 21.1km, or Sutherland to Surf - 11km

8 August 2010 - 14km - City to Surf (Bondi Hotel afterwards, special occasion too as Greg will be buying for the first time in 5 years!)

22 August 2010 - 21.1km - Mudgee or Bankstown Half Marathon
28 August 2010 - 7:30am - 14km - Handicap Bay Run x 2, warm up (6:30am) and then race

If I've missed on any races, I apologise!

Unless advised otherwise, the runs (that aren't races) start from Palace de Bogan (19 Bogan Street Summer Hill) at the time shown  (we will leave at the time shown). If anyone is interested please contact me on 0404623257 or via email.

The runs (that aren't races) are designed to finish at about 9:00am. But this can always be tinkered with!

The start is a quiet street, so would be grateful is you could be mouse-like on arrival.

Please bring drinks with you, though routes have been designed to take in water stops. Also please print off your own copy of the Route and bring it along!
